Vasant Vihar Club is a vibrant and prestigious Club located in the heart of Vasant Vihar. A friendly, inviting and family inclusive atmosphere sets it apart from other Clubs. It provides excellent sports facilities, many dining options, en suite guestrooms and a host of other activities and services for the entertainment and wellness of it\u2019s Members.<\/p>\n

A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Welcome to the new website of the Vasant Vihar Club and the Society!<\/p>\n

We are trying to develop it into an interactive portal, for effective communication with the residents of Shanti Niketan and Vasant Vihar.<\/p>\n

In present times, speedy communication is of critical essence, with \u2018breaking news\u2019 of this instant, becoming outdated information in a few moments. Though we are not a news site, we would like to convey the latest to our members and keep them updated with developments at the Club and Society. While we do endeavor to do that currently with SMSs and emails, we hope to facilitate that further through website alerts, which would be less intrusive, but more comprehensive.<\/p>\n

The new website also provides information on the facilities available in the Club, with a plan to eventually enable reservations for banquets, parties and guest rooms electronically, with minimal manual interface. The Members \u2018login page\u2019 will provide a secure payment gateway, and enable members to peruse their accounts, and manage usage of Club facilities.<\/p>\n

For the first time, we have integrated the Society on the website, with brief information about its activities and services. Other features will be introduced gradually, facilitating admission of new members, and requesting services.<\/p>\n

As with all our programs and activities, we welcome Members\u2019 comments and suggestions, hoping to improve our institutions with their valuable participation and support.<\/p>\n

The development of the new Website for the Vasant Vihar Club and Society has been an exhilarating journey of discovery \u2013 about the Colony, Club and the Society. After endless discussion, debate and deliberation, since March 2019, the new Website is finally ready for launch.<\/p>\n

I have been fortunate to have the counsel of Dipali Khanna, Milly Murgai, Raj Sharma, Mohan Ahluwalia, Puneet Kapur, Pushpendra Rai and SP Murgai at various stages of the Website development.<\/p>\n

Thank you all for your time, effort and persistence!<\/p>\n

A special thank you to Milly Murgai, for sharing her old photos and the original layout map of Vasant Vihar. We intend to add a lot more to the \u2018Our Story\u2019 section in due course.<\/p>\n

Bhuvnesh Kashyap and S. Ghosh from the Club, and Deepak Mandal from the Society, have helped bring together, the different pieces of the information jigsaw that was required for the Website.<\/p>\n

Thanks also to Ishan Arora of Xooinc, who undertook the website development work; Lovneesh Bansal of BSD Infotech; HDFC Bank, our payment partners; and Joydeep Das, our photographer. Joydeep inspired both Raj and myself to take some amateur photos for the Website!<\/p>\n

We hope you\u2019ll like the Website and find it informative and useful! This is a small, albeit, meaningful step forward. We look forward to your suggestions for further enhancements and plan to refresh it with new features periodically to meet the needs of our community.<\/p>\n
