The Delhi Tourism Department was setup in 1999 separating the tourism activities from Transport Department. The main aim of the department is promotion of tourism in the NCT of Delhi.  It, therefore, involves formulation, implementation and monitoring of tourism related schemes\/plans for promotion of tourism & tourism infrastructure, coordination and regulatory functions related to tourism matters in the NCT of Delhi. <\/div>\n
