It has a strong presence across India with around 500 coffee houses. It has been the center of communist and socialist movements for generations. Thus it has played a very important role in the politics of India.<\/p>\n<p>India Coffee Board Workers Co-operative Society Limited No.4227, Thrissur: Incorporated on 10 February 1958. The first Indian coffee house was opened on March 8, 1958 in Thrissur. This was also the fourth ICH in the country.
